David, I just started a new Topic titled "21st of Jan - Tom or Stuart". This appears to be a new topic in the index but when you click on it, it appears as a reply to an unrelated topic by Stuart!
I noticed this happened over the weekend on one of Tom / Francis's topics / replies.
Cheers

I am aware of the problem and have noticed it a few times before. Not sure what the cause is but it is easy to repair. Your posts are now all in order.
I have to admit that I rather underestimated the popularity of this forum when I was planning it. Had I realised the potential use, I would probably have gone for something more robust. However, that's my problem to deal with (probably over the summer). Until then, let me know whenever you notice anything odd and I can easily sort it out.

Where for art thou Tom's post on Ontology (http://www.websitearchitecture.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=118)? The first post is now David's reply to it!
That messages directory must be getting a bit large :)

Yes, I'm just scratching my head over that one. All looks OK in the data files but obviously is not. I'm working on it...
...OK, we're back on track now. I guess I'd better start looking for a forum upgrade path now <_<

There's PHPBB (http://www.phpbb.com/), which is very popular. It requires MySQL, but I think we're possibly reaching the limit of flat files about now.

Mmm, sounds nasty. I wonder if there's a way to automate the process? This Google search (http://www.google.com/search?q=import+flat+files+to+mysql&sourceid=mozilla-search&start=0&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8) looks interesting:
Still, if you wait until the summer:
100 posts a week X 20 weeks = 2000 new posts
