Sites like TinyURL (http://www.tinyurl.com) compress monster sized URLs down into smaller, notbreakinginanemail type affairs. The user pastes their huge, usually dyanmically generated, URL into the site, presses a button and hey-presto, you get a much smaller thing back, such as http://www.tinyurl.com/2e

The behind the scenes jiggery pokery results in the original URL being stored in a database, which means that anyone can go to TinyURL's site and append something to their domain name. Results can be varied (some 404s, for example) but one can land at all number of sites. Here's some completely random ones for starters:

www.tinyurl.com/z4e (http://www.tinyurl.com/z4e) (Microsoft knowledge base search on power toys)
www.tinyurl.com/ppq (http://www.tinyurl.com/ppq) (Amercican Medical Association atlas of the body female reproductive organs)
www.tinyurl.com/r2d2 (http://www.tinyurl.com/r2d2) (Reuters latest financial news)
www.tinyurl.com/c3p0 (http://www.tinyurl.com/c3p0) (All Music Guide: Steve Smith)
www.tinyurl.com/f1sh (http://www.tinyurl.com/f1sh) (Yahoo maps and driving directions for Seattle)
www.tinyurl.com/1234 (http://www.tinyurl.com/1234) (comp.graphics.apps.paint-shop-pro newsgroup posting)

In a bored 5 minutes, can anyone find a TinyURL that links to something really interesting?
