HubSpot (http://www.websitegrader.com) is a really useful site that generates a free SEO report on any site. The analysis is very good and the data returned and the comments are very useful. Definitely one to bookmark.

I took The liberty of checking our resident domains and here's the result:

cadtutor.net (David) = 95/100
freedigitalphotos.net (James) = 94/100
gardenvisit.com (Tom) = 85/100

All very high scores (as you might expect) but I'm the winner! :D;)

Ooh, I like this one - thanks!
I tried one of my URLs and it's so embarrassingly poor that I'm not going to tell you the score - I'll see what I can do to it over the coming months...

Yeah thanks for this, really good. I like their explanations...
Well, mayfairschool.co.uk scored 45/100... let's have another look in about one year's time and keep fingers crossed that it has improved!!!

I remember one of the god-forsaken wretches who has managed the England football team saying 'Judge me after the world cup' (I guess he ended up in the Tower). But we have just done a major re-planning of the Gardenvisit site, on which Google have not yet 'run the algo', but we are hoping to climb above 85%. But as to whether we will get above 95% - only time will tell!

Interesting to note that if you know what Website Grader is looking for, you can tweak your site to improve the rating. I've managed to get CADTuor up to 99%. Interestingly, this was done by improving the meta keywords list and yet, this is now considered a very low priority for SEO. Even the Search Engine Watch (http://searchenginewatch.com/)website has stopped using them. See excellent article (http://searchenginewatch.com/showPage.html?page=2167931).
