I've just been tipped off by one of the CADTutor forum members that the CADTutor tutorials have popped up as pdf e-books for free download. Basically, someone has systematically taken all my content, converted it to pdf and then made it available as a free download from a torrent site. For example, see this page (http://www.mininova.org/det/1121447).

I'm currently investigating.

Not nice at all, but not sure what you can do about it?

Well, I've just reported this to the MiniNova site admin. I must admit, I'm not confident. the two "e-books" were uploaded yesterday and already nearly 100 people have downloaded them as the table below indicates.

"Seeds" are completed downloads and "Leechers" are downloads in progress.

The swine!

An Irish magazine company did something similar to me (ie just putting the material on their website) years ago but a letter stopped them. I've been expecting something similar with the Garden History CD but it has not happened - YET.
The only measure I can think of is to look up some medieval descriptions of hell (life in boiling oil while being endlessly consumed by maggots etc) and find a way of letting the perpetrators know about what they can expect.
I guess you are more at risk than me, because garden historians are not a nerdy crowd. Most of them are pretty challenged by opening a file on a CD if the autorun does not work on their machines!
