Woried that someone might have stolen your site content and be passing it off as their own? Have a look at Copyscape (http://www.copyscape.com/). It searches for copies of any page you enter - and it works:

Here's my original (http://www.cadtutor.net/tutorials/autocad/drawing-objects.php).
Here's copy 1 (http://www.e4t.net/acad/tutorial/Drawing%20Objects.htm) and copy 2 (http://www.scribd.com/doc/2220417/AutoCAD-Tutorial)...

What action are you going to take?

The Scribd website appears to have a "Flag" button although you have to register first.

Or do you just resign yourself to this sort of thing happening. Unlikely to affect your traffic.

If I thought it was having a material affect, I would do something but frankly, it's not worth the effort. Bits of my content appear all over the place and it would be a momouth effort to clean them all up - and probably not possible in some cases. I tried getting my content removed from the Mininova (http://www.mininova.org/tor/1179241) torrent site without any success. I don't think these services are properly managed or moderated. I have to apply my efforts to where they give most benefit. OK, 36 people downloaded all my tutorials from Mininova but the most popular of my tutorials gets over 360 visits per day on the site. I think the best way to combat this is to keep your content up-to-date. That way, the stolen stuff falls out-of-date soon enough.
