This is probably one for the pedants but everyone can learn from this document.
The BBC News Style Guide (http://www.bbctraining.com/pdfs/newsstyleguide.pdf) (PDF).
An excellent resource about English spelling and grammar. Whilst not a web style guide, its contents should be noted by anyone writing copy for their website.
Poor spelling and grammar can devalue a website, even if its visual design is stunning. Get a friend or colleague to proof read copy, particularly your homepages.
Anything goes on some forums and blogs: they can get away with it; even "text speak" is accepted in some forums (thankfully not this one), but authoratitive articles cannot.
