Please could I have comments on a website designed by a former student of ours (Lynda Harris), preferably phrased in a way that I can pass on to her. (Nicholas Pearson Associates (http://www.npaconsult.co.uk/) - note how the home page image changes for each time you visit it.) Before doing our MA in Landscape Architecture Lynda was a project manager with a dotcom era web design firm in London. She did not have a technical training and was responsible for managing the contract for the British Airways website for travel agents (ie not the ticket booking section and not the intranet).

My first feeling is that the site is well constructed (although Francis will not like the use of tables - just look at that code! It looks like a D. Watson site), looks good - I like the random images on the home page. Although I'm fond of drop-down menus, I think in this case they are a bit distracting. BUT it does look like a big corporate website whereas the company (NPA) are in fact a relatively small practice. I don't think the "personalities of the site and the practice match. UNLESS they are deliberately trying to convey a different persona through the website.
