The original mouled plastic chair (http://www.allmodern.com/asp/show_detail.asp?sku=HML1158&PiID=2224488&refid=DT81-HML1158_2224488) was designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1948. It is a design classic and has been immitated many times but the proportions of this chair, especially the tapered back are the best.
