Just found this site for an art gallery (http://www.cloudking.com/). IMHO, the site is excellent - good use of colours, I love the logo at the top of the page, good layout and content.
The JavaScript and some layout is broken in IE5 (good to see people start to ignore the thing), and there are some interesting rollover effects that aren't in IE5 either.

I agree, it looks good but I really don't like the menu rollover effect - it just looks like they've forgotten to preload the rollover image (in IE6). Of course it works just fine in Mozilla but the fact that it looks so bad in IE6 is criminal for a main nav system. The designer should be shot.
It definately has that new CSS layout aesthetic and it looks like it may be using MovableType, which has a similar default style/aesthetic. Also, it's surely no coincidence that the colours are similar to the Mozilla site ;)
The rounded corners and drop shadow effects help to lift the pages and avoid that boxy flat appearance that seems to prevail at a lot of sites that use CSS layout.
