The Alexa Toolbar is worth downloading. It is a customisation of the Google, by Amazon, with (1) access to metasearch (2) more information (3) Amazon ads instead of Adwords.
As an example of the 'more information', have a look at the Information on the University of Greenwich Website (http://info.alexa.com/data/details?amzn_id=alexa65-tb-20&p=TBSIPopup_T_g_40_L1&url=http://www.gre.ac.uk/). And also at the Traffic data (http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?q=&url=http://www.gre.ac.uk/) for the UoG website. It looks as though the three landscape sites which I ought to be updating are generating 3% of the University's traffic!
