Hi There

I understand from a former post that software is not taught on this course.

Do you find that programs such as Flash can be self taught? Or do you offer some guidance on its use.

I cannot imagine flash is self explanatory.

If the software is not taught, how do people go from (as the prospectus says) a teacher to an e-teacher? This career does not necessarily mean any prior experience with such software.

Is HTML and CSS taught?

We teach the fundamentals of web design, so of course we teach the correct use of HTML and CSS but we don't have classes in "how to use Dreamweaver", although students may use it if they wish.

Contact time is short and we don't waste time demonstrating how to use specific software, although in some cases an introduction is given. Students at this level are expected to be independent learners and we give plenty of guidance but not hand-holding.
