From exploring your site am I correct to assume this course would categorise its students as graphic designers of the web, and not web developers (who would require more specialist knowledge of coding programs)?

We prefer the term "website architect" because it is much more than graphic design for the web (information architecture, SEO, SEM, usability, accessibility, findability...). We design websites in the same way that architects design buildings. Engineers are employed to make buildings work just as developers make websites work. However, the website architects needs to know what to ask of the developer and to understand how it works in order to form a good working relationship.
