Ahh, JavaScript popups, how we love them. Done badly (text (javascript:;)), they're inaccessible and don't allow me to shiftclick them open to expose either a usable page and/or the URL, which is sometimes necessary. Done badly, they're also inaccessible.
I've tried to use Evolt's Links And JavaScript Living Together In Harmony (http://evolt.org/article/Links_and_JavaScript_Living_Together_in_Harmony/17/20938/index.html) article at work, but because of various people working on "my" area of the intranet, it's not always been successful.
This week's ALA has an an article on the same subject (http://www.alistapart.com/articles/popuplinks/), but seems more involved and not something that would be easy to hand over to a client and expect them to make a good job of it (although how much is?).
