Sitepoint chose a nice title for this book. But the author trained in graphic design and is staggeringly naive on design theory, aesthetic theory, critical theory etc. HIS DESIGN ADVICE IS GOOD but it is rooted in Bauhaus modernism. With this qualification, I recommend the book for those who are studying the aesthetic and critical aspects of web design - and preparing seminar papers on the subject.
