How sad is this? Whilst winding my friend up the other day about his love of Sean Maguire I came across this website

What I love about this is actually the layout is pretty standard but they have worked with clever graphical elements (notepad, wonky pictures etc) to make it seem more exciting and to break away from the standard box layout. Although it would be nice if it was centre aligned, I still really love how they have been clever with this site.

Who would have thought Sean Maguire's site would get me so fired up!

I like these unique website designs, they're really good if your doing a site for something very artsy, but If your doing a site where you want to establish a brand, I think the grid and columns layout allows for more consistent communication. The look and feel of your design must match the content, so the designs are really great if its an artsy business.
