At work we have some new food snacks available called NAKD and their site is found here

http://www.naturalbalancefoods.co.uk/

Like Innocent Smoohies, they have taken branding to its furthest point, from cheeky messages on the packaging, for example, 'Hello and thank you to all the Belgians, French, Dutch, Swedes (and Norwegians!) checking out this side of the pack. Hope we spelt everything right!' right to the natural textures in their website (how Wabi Sabi).

They have chosen lowercase sans serif imperfect fonts to highlight their message of raw nature.

If you see them on the shelves take a look, it is their finishing touches that make them stand out (talking bees!) and is a great example of branding done correctly.

I don't find the branding particularly innovative but it is well done.

My favourite at the moment is as the opposite end of the scale - very slick. The new "menu (http://www.waitrose.com/food/productranges/menufrom.aspx)" range of ready meals from Waitrose - worth the extra just for the packaging!

Hmm, I actually prefer innocent's website. However, at the moment they have it shaded in a very ugly green colour. Yuk! I hope they go back to that lovely clean minimalist white thing they had going on. http://www.innocentdrinks.co.uk/

I've just seen this website and I don't think the branding is that great. Check out the right hand column... the logo saying Natural Balance Foods is in a really poor resolution AND it's not even a complicated image/photo... perhaps a 24-bit PNG would have been better mr. web designer!!!

OOO i mean more for their 'real life' branding, but you are right the website is a bit amateur. But I quite like the idea that is not polished and perfect. Intentional maybe?
