As you can see, I've just upgraded the forum to vB 4.0.2 and there are quite a lot of changes. I've done nothing to skin the forum as yet, other than add our logo at the top but plan to do that in the future. For now, it would be really useful if you could report back any glitches you find. :)

It's got a nice new out of the box feel about it!

Nice theme but I'm finding it more difficult to spot new posts from the front page. I found the old design made the words "Yesterday" and "Today" stand out, but now that part of the screen is tighter.
I've just seen the "What's New" tab though ... very handy.
Good work David - is this a paid-for product or do you get lifetime updates?

This is the new default vB theme. I (and lots of other people) are not very happy with it. For one, the text is too small on most of the homepage. However, the good news is that vB is now completely CSS/XHTML with a very comprehensive stylevar system and so the developers are saying that it is very easy to skin and modify. So far I agree with that (for example, replacing the vBulletin logo with our own wassimply a case of changing one stylevar value) but I haven't yet got to grips with the nitty-gritty.
The vB licencing changed with this version, and it's no longer the case that all upgrades are free for a given period. See details at www.vbulletin.com (http://www.vbulletin.com)
