My favourite tech broadcaster has been running a website for ten years and now says 'I'm scratching my head, what to do about the Kenradio site. How to I change it? Can you give me some advice? Do I use Wordpress high-end programming environment like Ruby-on-Rails, Joomla like the current site is on shall I go over to something like Druple? I don't know and I need help and recommendations.' As often, he is right. It is a big problem! Here is what may be his first web page: http://web.archive.org/web/20000511005329/http://www.kenradio.com/ And here is is his current site: http://www.kenradio.com/

It rather depends on how he sees the site evolving in the future but on the basis of his current site, I'd say go for WordPress - it's ideal for "magazine" type sites, is easy to deploy and has a beautiful and intuitive back-end (important if you're a publisher/editor).

That is certainly what I would do but he is an experienced programmer and must be tempted to do more of his own thing, as he does with Joomla. Perhaps we should offer an MA in Design for WordPress.
