Is it just me or are Firefox releases becoming too frequent. Of course we all like new stuff and stuff with better functionality but frankly, I'm still finding 3.6 a bit new and all of a sudden, a beta of 4.0 appears.
Don't get me wrong, I like that browsers are getting better and I applaud Mozilla for developing an excellent browser and for supporting standards and... But these constant updates are annoying. I think they should consolidate developments and release new upgrades less frequently - having said that, the 4.0 release is not expected this year (that's quite a long beta & RC phase).
Anyway, one of the headline improvements is that Firefox 4 supports more HTML 5 and video support for Google's recent WebM format (http://openvideoalliance.org/2010/05/google-frees-vp8-codec-for-html5-the-webm-project/?l=en).
So if you fancy being a beta tester, download Firefox 4.0 (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/beta/) now and let us know what you think.
