I just noticed when installing the latest Shockwave / Flash plugins that i am given the "fantastic" opportunity to download the Yahoo search bar at the same time. Needs a tick off to stop it getting installed as well. If you're not careful you wind up with so many of these things that there's hardly any room in your browser window.
Another reason to use Moz I think.

Warning - heavy sarcasm ahead...

I've not seen Shockwave content on the Web for quite some time now. The only time I see it is when it's bundled with CD content. I checked the Macromedia site and, as I'm not on IE, I was only offered the chance to download the installer for Moz, Opera etc. No sign of my "fantastic" opportunity, which has really broken my heart. I mean, what am I going to do without my Yahoo toolbar? Oh, I forgot, I can just type search terms into my spyware free (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&safe=off&c2coff=1&q=google+toolbar+spyware&btnG=Search) address bar. Look ma, no plugin needed to search Google, DMOZ, AskJeeves and a couple of others. But, what if I wanted Yahoo? Oh, what can I do, what can I do? You IE users are so lucky to be given this opportunity. Oh, I know, perhaps I'll install this (http://mycroft.mozdev.org/quick/yahoo.html) - it seems pretty comprehensive ;) . But wait - there's more! (http://mycroft.mozdev.org/download.html). Search Amazon (one or two choices...) (http://mycroft.mozdev.org/quick/amazon.html), Wikipedia, IMDB, AltaVista, Ebay (your choice of country (http://mycroft.mozdev.org/quick/ebay.html)), Dictionary.com, or maybe some of these (http://mycroft.mozdev.org/download.html). Pfft.
