Flashy cartoons

Have a look at the cartoons at the foot of the Al-Jazira (http://english.aljazeera.net/HomePage) homepage for a good use of Flash (and a significant lack of humour).

All I can see is a Flash ad for weather forecasts. Other than that, it's all standard images/animated GIFs.

After making the post, I thought I should have checked on how they did it! My point should have related to animated cartoons. But I wonder if I am wrong about this too - much of the pleasure in a cartoon comes from instant gratification.

They ARE Flash cartoons, and some of them are quite good.

You need to click on the "cartoons" link at the bottom left of the page Francis.
