Jamie Oliver has won an iTunes design award and also produced the most lucrative iPhone app, confirming my view that apps are potentially a more secure revenue stream than websites.

I have not made an app (yet!) but with a WYSIWYG editor the skills involved cannot be so different to those involved in producing a website.

I looked into making apps and apparently you need an apple mac to do so? I definitely would like to explore this in the future as it's definitely the way to go. :)

No you don't! See this post http://www.websitearchitecture.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?3851-Google-s-WYSIWYG-Android-app-builder
Since the relationship of Mac:Android is like BMW:VW it is likely that Android will overtake iPhone in market share, but has not happened yet: http://blog.nielsen.com/nielsenwire/online_mobile/iphone-vs-android/

Hi I have just discovered this book: Building iPhone Apps with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (http://ofps.oreilly.com/titles/9780596805784/pr01.html). Thinking of purchasing out of interest!
