Anyone else having fun with the snow today?
We've got 5+ inches here... not sure I will be able to make it out of here tomorrow at this rate as it's still falling thick and fast, the trains are up the spout and may be stuck without a lift... :-(

oh no! you gotta be kidding! Is this the whole of London?
I usually get a lift in, in the mornings, but I need a way to get back! Are the trains all not working?

No idea if it's all London as I am in Kent. None of my neighbours got trains who usually get them in, but two neighbours who get coaches in were able to.

We will just have to see how it goes tomorrow. Where I am, by the sea, in Kent isn't as bad as 5 inches. But I know that snow is hitting it really hard more inland which is what I'd be travelling through whether I get a lift or train... I hope it isn't too bad!

It must all be blowing into the sea :-) It's not stopped here - about 7-8 inches now. Even our dog, made for the snow (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samoyed_%28dog%29) is reluctant to take even a small step outside. Fingers crossed anyhow!

I will take a decision later today and email everyone. I just need to organise a few things first but the forecast doesn't look promising.

Snow not too bad in West Sussex, though the ice is horrendous. On way to son's school my car slid off the lane, so had to head back home - driving conditions pretty bad here.

So scary isn't it Jodie.. My car slipped sideways when I was trying to get up a little hill at the end of my road. I nearly slipped into an Aston Martin!!!! Imagine...

Morning :)
My way to the bus stop took me forever - the pavements and streets are so slippery!

And it's still falling here... I do hope it will stop and melt away soon. You can see another 10 inches of snow from same time yesterday... lovely. At least my concentration is now focussed on the coursework tasks ahead (honest!) :shifty:
