Vint Cerf (one of the creators of TCP/IP) has annouced that new technology will allow everyone to have their own IP address (http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=internetNews&storyID=5717373). As it currently stands, 2/3rds of the possible 4.3 billion web addresses have gone. This new technology will increase that limit by "25,000 trillion trillion times".
