This is one for JB ;) Lucas Film have announced the title of the next Star Wars film (http://www.starwars.com/episode-iii/bts/production/news20040724.html).
Amazon.co.uk are taking an interesting approach to the forthcoming original trilogy DVD release (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0001ZE1OU/ref=amb_center-1_108960_1/202-6134499-2323026). If you pre-order it, you not only get free shipping, but they're saying that they'll deliver it to you so you get it on the day of release. I remember reading somewhere that the interest in these DVDs is so huge that Amazon had more of these DVDs pre-ordered by, I think, May than they thought they'd have by the September release date. By doing delivery on day of release, Amazon are competing directly with the HMVs, WHSmiths and Virgins of the world more than they ever have before. I think this is something that Barnes and Noble (http://www.barnesandnoble.com/fasterdelivery/index.asp?userid=7I0n0Tk9oQ) do to a limited extent in the States. If Amazon offered that for their "ships within 24 hours" stock, even if it was for a premium price, they could maybe become even more competitive.
