Awesome news, and about time. Story here (http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2011/feb/25/google-search-results).

Hopefully this will put paid to those dire re-writers of SEO "content". More original content will be rewarded, than re-jigged keyword stuffed nonsense floating to the top.

I agree although I always hold my breath with Google algorithm changes ... will it have negative effects on some good sites? (eg mine).

I doubt very much you've anything to worry about.

I do think that people heavily dependent on PageRank might start to feel the pinch if their sites draw juice from sites which subsequently produce lots of this re-hashed content created solely for traffic generation purposes (and there are a fair number of those). Many folks who work hard to produce good, original and captivating content should only benefit from this move however.

Interesting debate here ...... I understand that provided high quality content is the most important aspect in SEO .... However, it’s not that easy to come up with high quality content consistently.
