There was a thread on MetaFilter (http://www.metafilter.com/mefi/35399) that caught my eye recently. Reading the site (http://www.brightstarsound.com/), I too find it unbelievable that I'd never heard of this before. It's one of those things that you'd maybe think was an internet hox, but the BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/198173.stm) still have an archived story on it as does The Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/inatl/longterm/coldwar/shatter021099b.htm). He was given a World Citizen's Award (http://www.worldcitizens.org/petrov.html), but with a site like that, it makes one wonder exactly what that's worth. Still: blimey!
