ThinkSecret have the scoop on updated Adobe products (http://www.thinksecret.com/news/0409adobecs20.html). I'm joining them in thinking that it's a bit soon for Photoshop, Illustrator, GoLive (http://www.thinksecret.com/news/0409adobegl80.html) and InDesign. Adobe are focusing on date-driven rather than feature-driven updates, which gives poor value for money to the customer. Added to which, their upgrade path is very tight - you could only get PS CS if you had the previous version of PS (7.x). They are effectively obligating you to buy each upgrade, otherwise you'll ending up paying ~£600 for a new, full edition of PS. And that stinks.

It is about time for an upgrade to Acrobat (it's been about 1.5 years which used to be the norm for Adobe and Macromedia), and I'm hoping that there are as many improvements to that as there were between 5 and 6. If you're going to get Acrobat full product, the professional version is well worth the extra money.
