Very interesting article in the Guardian (http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/blog/2011/nov/03/will-html5-replace-native-apps) today predicting that HTML5 may become the developers choice for apps in the future. It makes sense as it is cross-platform etc.

Very interesting article David, thanks for posting. HTML5 + jQuery mobile (http://jquerymobile.com/) - developed with a focus on accessibility - could be a very powerful tool. I've been mulling over an idea for a profile page design for Prisca's class which would lend itself to touch. I'm hoping to find some time to code it soon (although work is starting to pile up now!) so I'll let you know how I get on.

Great article. I was browsing through some HTML5 experiments and here's a link for a nice project made using HTML5, Google Earth and Google Maps. It works better in Chrome. The Wilderness Downtown/ (http://www.thewildernessdowntown.com/)
