A new pre-release version of Nvu (http://nvu.com/), the open source web editor has just been released. Has anyone tried it yet? It's based on Netscape Composer and uses the Geko render engine. I'm considering recommending it to my Advanced Representation students as a free and simple WYSIWYG web editor that they can use at home for their project work. My only concern is that pages build with Nvu may not work correctly when viewed in IE. Any comments?
