IE was causing me problems when uploading new images to my site - for no reason it started sending corrupt file names to the server! So I've switched to Firefox (cue applause from Francis).
However, I went to enter my meter readings into powergen.co.uk and guess what? Yep, I could not get it to work using Firefox. Went in via IE and all was fine.
I have tested my online banking sites and they work fine in Firefox although the "import cookies" function failed - perhaps not a bad thing in the interests of security. Also, on one of my bank sites, Nationwide, the password is not ***** out! And it asked me if I wanted to save the password!
So on the whole my feedback on Firefox is mixed - although I will continue to use it for the sake of my university project site. I appreciate these problems are because of the sites' designers not Firefox itself, however the end result is the same: mild frustration for the user.
