All change at AdSense

Well, it was only a matter of time and it has surprised me that it has taken so long but Google have just announced two new payment options for the AdSense programme.

1. you can now elect to receive payment by cheque in your local currency (not just dollars as to date).

2. a new beta program can be used to pay funds directly to your bank account.

This is all good news but what the heck do I do with my NatWest dollar account? Is there any advantage to having dollars?

1) leave $10 in the account (or better close it and open a Citibank a/c - they treat dollars as a local currency with no conversion charges in either direction
2) for the present, get out of dollars a.s.a.p. - most people think there is still a good way for the greenback to fallback.
3) just think, if the $ was still at 1.56 we would be better off!
