Phil, all the obvious "my home network" name combinations seem to have been taken. The best I could come up with was:

netmyhome.net

but have you considered these:

networknovice (all except .com)
networktutor (all except .com)
homenetnovice (all available)
homenettutor (all available)

the "your" names aren't so popular as the "my" names, so

yourhomenetwork.net

is available (but not .com)


networktutor.net has a nice ring about it. i think it's between those two - unless anyone else has some ideas. Getting the name right is a fundamental but really important aspect of this whole caper.

My advice is: stick to the keywords. I can't see anyone searching on network+Tutor [nor will my, your or novice do much good]. The full list from Overture Precision Match is below [for home+network]. I think you must include home+network. After that, what about putting in setup? There are clearly a number of terms you want to exclude!

yes the important words are home and network, and google likes your keywords to appear in the title. i thought about homenetworker, but of course they're all taken too - except for .info but who ever goes to a .info? its got to be a .net or .com
