I suppose it makes sense that if you really want to know what's happening now, you should search for keywords in recent blog entries. That's exactly what Technorati (http://www.technorati.com/) does. It's a search engine that seems to index blogs but it's right up-to-date. Logically, searches are returned by freshness rather than relevance but it is a nery interesting way to search.

Weird - I was looking at this today. Phil: this Zombie post is right up your street (http://www.news.com.au/story/0,10117,15739502-13762,00.html) (found via the Technocrati home page). Also weird - I found a ZIP file of the Silkscreen font on my work machine that I must have downloaded a while ago.
