In addition to the 3 online tools listed on our course homepage (http://www.coursestuff.co.uk/1046/), I came across these two gems:

ColorBlender (http://www.colorblender.com/) is a really slick web 2.0 application with some nice features.

Color Scheme Chooser (http://www.webhelps.com/help/colorscheme.html) is also very nice AND you can add it to your own website for free! I can see it finding its way onto Website Architecture in the not too distant future.

Adobe have just launched the Kuler (http://kuler.adobe.com/), an online colour picker that looks pretty cool. Haven't had a chance to really play with it yet, but on first inspection: oooooh!

Well, it looks great but I couldn't get it to work. No matter which sliders/gizmos I used, I didn't see any colour in IE7 of FF.

It does show great promise but it's not ready yet.

I like the idea that schemes can be downloaded for use in CS2 apps.

Really? It work (and works) fine for me. I've often wondered why something like this has never been built into Photoshop - even a decent colour wheel would be of massive use.

You're right, something like this in PS would be good although I imagine that once Kuler launches, there will be some hooks in PS CS3 or whatever.

Still no luck. I'm changing those RGB sliders and just getting a black square. :(
