Do you like using FireFox but work in an environment where it's not available. PortableApps is here to help. Just load portable FireFox on a USB drive/stick and you're away. Other portable applications include Open Office, Audacity and GIMP. Free and portable!

Old age is setting in. Maybe I should just give up now.
What I hadn't realised was that if you have FF on a USB key, you effectively have all your bookmarks as well. Great idea.
Hey, have you seen that site that provides free web content - now what was it called...

Interesting about the bookmarks. Google has a bookmarking sync extension for FF (http://www.google.com/tools/firefox/browsersync/) which could also be useful, although I note that it also syncs your history, which by default will mean giving even more private information which they really don't need.
