I am sure I know the answer to this questions but for some reason it is just not coming to me today!
Where do I go to find out how many people have visited a site?

David, do you think there could be a benefit to "getting quantified" on Quantcast? Basically it means your website stats become public but could be a good way to attract advertisers?
Are there any ways of working out stats when they do not appear on those sites?
Alexa has given me traffic ranks but unfortunately not all sites come up on Compete so do not have visitor numbers for each site.
Typical! the sites I need the data for the most are the ones it does not come up for!
James, I can think of no good reason for not having your stats shown publicly. It certainly helps potential advertisers get an independent assessment of your traffic.
Rob, there's no easy way of getting stats for a small site that isn't showing publicly. You could always try emailing the webmaster and asking what their stats are - just say you're doing some research for a university project!
