Thread: Wordpress Boilerplate Theme

    Default Wordpress Boilerplate Theme

As I'm never satisfied with the state of my homepage I'm constantly looking for the best basic Wordpress theme to use as a starting point for a new design. Anyway, this is it, it's an integration of Starkers (a stripped down version of the default theme) and the HTML 5 Boiler Plate.

I'm still getting my head around HTML 5 but I guess this will be good practice and it's a great starting point for building a responsive design for my site.

Nice find. I've been after a stripped down WP theme but ended up doing my own for a recent project, it was based on HTML5BP though so I guess I had the right starting point.

Bet that was fun, good practice for PHP!

Yeah, it was good practice, but the annoying this is that when you start using third party plugins they can end up introducing errors - then if you go into the code to fix them it means that there may be problems in future updates!
