Word Press Books

I am looking for a book or books relating to WordPress and creating themes and which will also explain and teach me about php and mysql etc.

I have found a few but do not know anything about them. Has anyone read any of these or know of any good books relating to the topic?

I've not used any of those. I started with WordPress for Beginners though it didn't do much for php. You could try codex.wordpress.org. That's a very good resource for everything WordPress. Also, the book PHP Solutions is another good one (for PHP at least).

Thanks Uzoma. Yes the WordPress Codex is very useful and it is a must read when using WordPress. I am looking for a hard copy of a good book so i can have it next to me while working rather than having to constantly flick through browser tabs and programs on screen.
