Green Farm which was acquired by in 1980, is still very much a working farm.

Tucked away above the valley of Coombe Hawne, there is a long standing history of little disputed myth and legend that the last recorded run of spirits ever made at Fowey took place here on 9 August 1845 (with a cavity between two rooms reputed to have been used as a smugglers hole).
