User experience design

Overview

The User Experience Design module deals with the principles of user-centred design and the importance of knowing your users so that design decisions can be made to control and improve the user experience (UX). This course considers the techniques that can be employed to deliver websites that have a good content strategy, that deliver content that is logical, useful, accessible and inclusive. Research, analysis, ideation and prototyping are all covered and techniques are described in detail. The course aims to privide you with a robust workflow when developing solutions to any design challenge.

The course takes the form of two day-long workshops that are very much “hands-on”. The first focuses on user experience research and the second on user experience design, both led by industry experts.
